At July’s Bright Spot webinar, Connie Stevens will present on the Wisconsin Sound Beginnings Parents Reaching Out program and the expansion of family-to-family support at the Waisman Center. Parents Reaching Out focuses on supporting parents of children newly identified as deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf plus. Parents Reaching Out provides a connection to a seasoned support parent. Building on the success of Parents Reaching Out, the Waisman Center will expand family-to-family connections to those raising children and youth with other special health care needs.
